Professional Experience
From 1978 to 1982 - France / Paris: Various positions in the cosmetics industry, notably at BOURJOIS CHANEL. At the same time, pursued studies at the ISIPCA school of perfumery and cosmetics to obtain a Master's degree in applied sciences with a specialization in perfumery.
From 1982 to 1985 - France / Paris: Deputy Director of I.P.S.A PIERRE CARDIN (Institut Permanent Supérieur d’Animation) PARIS.
From 1985 to 1991 - Africa / Côte d'Ivoire / Abidjan: Vice President of ethnic products at REVLON REALISTIC Inc., based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, Africa.
From 1991 to 2001 - Africa / Côte d'Ivoire / Abidjan: Founder and CEO of LABORATOIRE DERMATOLOGIQUE DE FRANCE (Labo.DERMA). Co-founder and manufacturer of the iconic brand "FAIR&WHITE". Partner of the MEDICA CONTINENTAL laboratory in France.
From 2001 to 2005 - France / Cannes: Founder and CEO of Laboratoire DERMALYS in Antibes, France. Creator and manufacturer of brands such as "ORLEEN DE CANNES", "GREENFLOYD", "OPALEEN", and "KARMA Collection".
From 2005 to 2011 - USA / Florida / Miami: Founder and General Director of CAPTIVI Group Inc., Miami. Creation, manufacturing, and distribution of cosmetics and perfumes. Designed high-end perfumes for VIPs, including "AKON", "LADY GAGA", "GALINA TODD", "Jennifer LOPEZ", "BEYONCÉ", "MOKOBE", and "Matt HAMILTON".
From 2011 to 2020 - France / Cannes & Hong Kong, China: Partner at SARL MARCUS SPURWAY, Grasse. Regional sales manager for Asia at LABORATOIRE CONTINENTAL and LABO.DERMA. Co-creator of the brand "Delys" and the concept "SCENTORIAS – MARCUS SPURWAY" in Hong Kong. Founder of CAPTIVI Group Ltd, Hong Kong, specializing in the import and distribution of "Marcus Spurway", "Delys", "Fair & White", and in the creation of OEM brands.
Today, more distanced from the business world but not from perfume, he has become a novelist and author of books on perfumery under the pseudonym DAN ACHEN.
